In the fast-paced world of finance and business, where numbers often dominate, SBP Accountants and Business Advisers stand out as a company that truly values compassion. Their commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) isn't just a nice gesture, it's part of their identity.

At the heart of SBP's CSR work, there is a deep sense of responsibility to their community. They understand that their success is closely tied to the well-being of the society they're part of. This understanding has led them to launch several initiatives to give back.

One initiative is their support for local charities. Each year, SBP selects a charity to champion, which this year is AberNecessities.

In September, 26 SBP team members embarked on a 1500-mile walkathon in support of the local charity. Not only did they surpass their fundraising goal but they also walked an impressive 1,719.95 miles - equivalent to the distance from Peterhead to Lisbon, Portugal.

SBP's commitment goes beyond their offices. Their staff are actively involved in charitable work and community service throughout the year, making it an integral part of their corporate culture.

Through SBP's dedication to environmental sustainability, they've recently embraced the Cycle to Work government scheme, promoting employee well-being and reducing their carbon footprint. By encouraging staff to cycle to work, they're not only contributing to a greener planet but also promoting a healthier, more motivated team.

SBP sets an inspiring example, demonstrating that businesses can be profitable while prioritising the well-being of their team, the environment, and their local community. For SBP, it's not just about numbers; it's about people, compassion, and creating a better future for their communities.
