Last week, some of the SBP Peterhead team spent the day at the SeaFest in Peterhead! With the fantastic weather, it was encouraging to see thousands of people and businesses from the local community and beyond enjoy the day.

Exhibitors from as far as London and the Isle of Skye were in attendance and hosting stalls, as were multiple local businesses including us. With an incredible turnout of around 60 stalls, the event was officially opened by The Lord Lieutenant of Aberdeenshire, Sandy Manson.

The busy itinerary had fun activities throughout the day for all with free face painting, a treasure hunt and local community dance groups also performed. Other highlights included a Postman Pat van charity raffle in aid of Men United which was won by Kevin Buchan who re-donated the van to the Peterhead-based group and the emergency services being present to allow people to see inside an ambulance and understand how the Coastguard and RNLI operate.

We welcomed lots of people to our stall where we had a catch the fish game. People were invited to pick a square and place their name within. The Box that had the Fish within won the prize which was a £20 Voucher from the Amity Larder.

It was also great to meet and speak with existing and potential clients and acquaintances to catch up about all things accounting and financial services. Highlight all of the services that we continue to offer Aberdeen and the Shire.

We would like to thank everyone who attended, the sponsors and the support of the committee who set up the event. We look forward to next year's SeaFest in the summer!
